Overview
Taylor Recycling Facility's construction and demolition waste recycling site in Montgomery, NY is a fully permitted, 45 acre site. It is one of the most unique of its kind in the world. We succeed because customers are kept in mind as Priority #1 in everything we do. A few examples of Taylor's customer focus mentality are as follows:
1. Roads are paved to prevent flat tires
2. Misting systems were added to keep down dust
3. Our receiving areas are indoors and on concrete to keep customers out of the weather, safe, and in and out of our facility quickly
4. Customers running a few minutes late can call us to keep our doors open
Hours of Operation
This facility accepts construction and demolition debris from any hauler, contractor or homeowner in any sized vehicle during the following days and hours:
Monday to Friday - 7:00 am to 4:30 pm
Saturday - 7:30 am to Noon
Sunday - Closed
We are closed
New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

C&D Processing
Construction and demolition material is received, weighed, and then tipped in our state-of-the-art recovery facility. Materials such as wood, concrete, metal, wallboard and cardboard are removed and the remaining fraction is then manufactured into a cover product landfills use to prevent fires and other problems at their facilities
Wallboard Recycling

Unpainted wallboard is converted into gypsum and paper products using a proprietary mechanical process. This plant is one of only a handful in the world and is the largest on the eastern seaboard. Part of how Taylor stays ahead of the rest by implementing new technologies. An example of this is our wallboard recycling plant. This part of our facility was developed to meet specific customer and regulatory demands. Our plant saves customers money every time they use us and keeps this material, which is perfectly recyclable, out of landfills where it can create hydrogen sulfide gas.
Finished Product Sales
All of Taylor's products are available for pick up or delivery. We have the capacity to load 110 cubic yard trailers or 1 cubic yard pick up trucks. No job or sale is too small or large! |
